How awesome is that purposeless wall?! :) When we got rid of the wall I thought the room looked 100% better but after months of no changes the room felt very unfinished.
Which it was! haha We finally got everything patched, textured, and painted. We also decided to go with carpet instead of tile because of how expensive it would of been to level the room. The carpet makes the room feel much warmer when it is 17 degrees outside!
So much better! Carpet is definitely not ideal for underneath the kitchen table, but it is if your baby accidentally fell off the couch. Which totally didn't happen... I LOVE that the room looks finished from this view. Here is another before:

Now back to that awesome wall...
Now one of my big regrets from this room was ripping the paneling off of the brick {I should of just painted it!}. I wanted an exposed brick wall and didn't really think about how much work it would create.
As you can probably see the brick has some NON-REMOVABLE liquid nails still on it. This is after hours of scraping!
Tall Tan Man has actually already framed in the bookcase and door opening since I took these pictures {which was before Little Man was BORN}. We have just a few small projects left in this room then it will be DONE. The current decor is very hodge podge {and Christmasy} and needs some love. Maybe I'll get to it when Little Man learns how to nap!
Y'all have a great week!
