Wedding "Cake"

 I received all of our wedding photographs from the oh so talented {Caroline Jurgensen} last week. I have looked at all 1000+ photos over and over again...oh goodness I looooove them.  Hope ya'll are okay with all my wedding posts...I still can't believe its all over, so I will be reliving everything one post at a time.  :)  

Picking to do cupcakes vs. a normal cake was an easy as cake choice...ha!  I always knew I wanted to do cupcakes.  And I really wanted to do cupcakes once I found out venues charge a $2+ cutting fee per slice.  Ohhh heeeck no. After searching through many bakeries, my Mom and I made a delicious discovery.   Market Street.  At first I might of put my nose up in the air, and thought I can't use a grocery store to make my wedding cake... Then I decided to give them a chance, and I am so happy I did!

We made sure we had a lot of options for our guests.  My personal favorite was the chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting.  This was not on their normal menu, and the baker said she could make it happen.  The red velvet ones were the biggest hit {unfortunately a dozen of them did not survive my brothers driving}.  I am so happy how beautiful they turned out! {I bet you wouldn't guess all of this only cost $140 bucks}!

The Groom's "Cake" was Tall Tan Man's favorite dessert, Oreo's.  Yes, I know... the sign say's Oreo's and Milk.  Our caterer was ridiculous about this so it didn't happen.  I was too spacey to remember to change the sign. Whoops...
