Lemonade Recipe
I have a confession... I love kool-aide. Most of my summers growing up were spent with a red upper lip and orange hair {gotta love SunIn}. Don't even get me started on my Titanic posters and wanting everything in my dELiA*s magazine. #90schild
Thankfully, I've grown up a little since then and now I can make drinks that don't require a powder pouch! This Lemonade Recipe is yummy and makes me feel good that all the ingredients are real. Real? Healthy? Not healthy, sugar isn't the healthiest... You get what I am saying!
Lemonade 🍋
Ingredients:
4 Cups Water
3/4 Cup heaping sugar*
3/4 Cup Lemon Juice {Seeds Removed - 6 Lemons}
*If you want your lemonade sweeter and less tangy use closer to 1 cup of sugar.
Directions:
1. Heat water and sugar in a large sauce pan until the sugar is dissolved. Let the sugar water cool in refrigerator or freezer.
2. Add the lemon juice to the sugar water and enjoy! I like some pulp in my lemonade, but if you have a picky 2 year old 😏 then you'll want to remove it with a colander.
If you need me I'll be relaxing on my back porch with a glass of ice cold lemonade!
JK I am probably cleaning up pee because we are potty training Mack! Motherhood is so glamorous! 😎
