Cinnamon Roll French Toast Casserole
Christmas and breakfast are two of my favorite things and ohhhh my goodness, this Cinnamon Roll Casserole tastes as good as it looks! I think it was impossible not to go back for seconds. This would be perfect for Christmas morning because it comes together fast and is a real crowd pleaser!
Cinnamon Roll French Toast Casserole
Ingredients:
2 Cans Cinnamon Rolls {I chose the ones with extra icing}
1/2 Cup Milk
4 Eggs
1 TSP Cinnamon
1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
2. Open up both cans of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into 4 pieces. Put all of the cinnamon roll pieces in the 9 x 13-inch pan.
3. In a medium mixing bowl combine remaining ingredients {not including the icing}. Make sure you stir the mixture well or you'll end up with some scrambled eggs in the casserole.
4. Pour egg mixture over the cinnamon roll pieces. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until rolls are lightly brown.
5. When the casserole is finished place both icings in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 10 seconds. Drizzle over casserole and enjoy!
SO SO SO GOOD!!! I still haven't decided if I will make this for Christmas or my usual Pioneer Woman Cinnamon Rolls. Maybe I'll make both... Do you have any go-to Christmas morning recipes? I'd love to hear them!
