Hello! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family! My family drove up from Dallas, and it was wonderful spending a little bit of time with them. I kind of felt like old times with my brother only wanting to sleep on the couch, and my Dad kept calling the Dallas Cowboys morons. :) I got started working on Christmas projects early this year. My first Christmas project was this wreath, and I originally spotted it {here} from the blog; Between You & Me.
I love it. I really just want to snuggle with it... Weird? Probably. If you would like to make this wreath here is what you will need:
{hot glue gun, scissors not pictured, and I actually used 3.5 things of yarn}
First you will need to make a bunch of pom poms. The thicker the yarn to better!
1. Wrap the yarn around four of your fingers 40 times {yes, 40}.
2. With an extra piece of yarn, tie a knot around the middle.
3. Cut the edges.
Next, glue the pom poms onto the wreath. I worked on the outside edge first.
This project did take a couple of hours, but it was the perfect project to do while watching abc family Christmas movies. :) Not going to lie... I am a sucker for cheesy Christmas movies.
Just one more...
Hope you have a fabulous week. It might be a little rough getting back into the swing of things, but I am pumped for Friday when I will attend my first ever work Christmas party. I might be setting my hopes a little too high, but supposedly Tall Tan Man's work throws one amazing party.
Oh, and can I get an Amen for no shave November being over? Let's just say my super manly hubby's mustache was starting to scare the children. :)
